Reelx respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright holders. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent copyright laws worldwide. We take all valid copyright infringement notices seriously and respond promptly.
Reelx is a tool that facilitates access to publicly available content on third-party platforms. We do not host, store, or redistribute video content on our servers. Videos are streamed directly from the source platform to the end user. Nonetheless, we understand our responsibility to ensure our tool is not used to infringe on the rights of copyright owners.
Permitted and Prohibited Use
Reelx is intended solely for the following permitted uses:
- Downloading your own content that you have uploaded to social media platforms
- Saving publicly available content for personal, offline, non-commercial viewing
- Educational or research purposes that fall within fair use doctrine
- Content for which you have explicit written permission from the copyright holder
The following uses are strictly prohibited and violate our Terms of Use:
- Downloading and redistributing copyrighted content without permission
- Using downloaded content for commercial purposes without appropriate licensing
- Re-uploading downloaded content to any platform as if it were your own
- Circumventing digital rights management (DRM) protections
- Any use that infringes on the rights of content creators or copyright holders
How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been made accessible in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
Your identification
Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
Identification of the infringing material
The specific URL(s) on Reelx or information reasonably sufficient to locate the material you claim is infringing.
Good faith statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy statement
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Signature
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@reelx.app. Your counter-notification must include your name, address, telephone, electronic signature, identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Reelx has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our service at our discretion.
False Notices
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees.
